A larger bell and specifically-placed rolled-style tone holes contribute to the sound qualities of this instrument that many compare to some of the great vintage horns of the past. This model includes both an “S” and “M” neck, developed with Bob Mintzer, and features Eastman’s DS mechanism to provide players with versatility and unmatched playability.

The ETS852 tenor includes defining features of the 52nd Street saxophone. The design team didn’t stop there. Determined to create the best tenor saxophone, Bob and the Eastman team developed a new neck to draw even more out of this instrument. The “M” neck, for Mintzer, was born. This broad neck opens the ETS852 and leaves you feeling that the instrument isn’t even there – it’s just you, and your expression of music.
