Bambú’s history began with its first string ligature, created in 2009 in Argentina by a company dedicated to crafting wind instrument accessories. The original design, made from a single woven cord, has since been updated to the “UNA” ligature, which features new adjusters, resin tips, and an optional pressure plate. The company’s philosophy is rooted in handcrafted processes and creating functional accessories, starting with the string ligature that gave the company its name.
The company also produces NOVA ligatures, microfiber cleaning swabs, handmade wooden reed cases, and neck straps.
